The main Equine Hospital is located at Tatura; however a range of procedures can be undertaken at a second hospital at Campaspe. Our aim is to give your animals the best possible care in the field of veterinary medicine and surgery. We help you care for your horses by offering quality health services through a responsive, professional team of friendly, knowledgeable and caring vets and nurses.

Your horses will receive personal attention in a modern and well equipped facility from a team that is genuinely committed to helping your horses live a long, productive and healthy life.

In addition to our mobile reproductive service our clinic facilities allow us to carry out routine reproductive procedures as well as more advanced techniques such as inseminating mares with frozen semen. The mare crush allows mares to be scanned and treated safely. All mares are brought up individually to avoid large numbers of mares running together and potentially getting injured. The laboratory contains semen storage canisters, incubators, a microscope and other equipment required for routine and advanced reproductive procedures. This lab allows us to do a comprehensive range of procedures ranging from storage, freezing, thawing, semen analysis and fertility testing, collection and dispatch of chilled semen.

The Tatura Veterinary Clinic has been providing services to the Goulburn Valley Dairy Industry since the 1950’s. Combined our vets have over 50 years experience with both dairy and beef cattle. On top of providing experienced care, our vets also provide farmers with advice regarding mastitis control, fertility, herd management and other production issues. The Tatura Vet Clinic also is accredited in the “In Calf” program.

Puppy Pre School classes are designed to start both you and your pup off on the right foot and show you how to begin training your pup so that it will become a polite, happy, healthy and well behaved family member.

The experiences your puppy has during the first few months of life will affect later behavior. Many studies of the early phase of a dog’s life demonstrate that dogs that have been isolated during puppyhood are more likely to be hyperactive, aggressive, difficult to train, antisocial and fearful.

All family members welcome, especially children. Please don't feed your puppy for 8 hours before the class as food reward training is encouraged.
